This unique hamsa pendant is a unique
Jewish charm. The pendant is made of two Hamsa hands, one is from Sterling silver, and the other from Gold.
The Silver Hamsa is inscribed in Hebrew with
Birkat Kohanim (also known as the Priestly Blessing or Nessiat Kapayim). At the heart of the Hamsa is a Turquoise gem.
The Silver hamsa is engraved with a psalm from the birkat HaKohanim that appears in the Bible:
"The Lord bless thee and keep thee, The Lord make His face to shine
upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The Lord lift up His countenance
upon thee, and give thee peace" (Book of Numbers, 6:24-26).
The Kohanim or Cohanim were the high priests of the Israelites in the Sinai desert. The
Priestly blessing was recited to Moses and Aaron on the day when they had finished setting
up the sacred tabernacle in the middle of the Israelite camp.his powerful
blessing is delivered by God through the Kohens who were to teach the
Israelites the sacred name of God on earth. Traditioanly, the blessing f the Kohanim
is also believed to provide divine protection.
Today, Birkat HaKohanim can only be recited by Kohanim,, descendents of Aaron, at

Ayne". The hamsa amulet is also engraved with "Ben Porat
Yosef Alei Ayne". When Jacob blesses his youngest son Joseph, he calls
him "Ben Porat Yoseph", which means a fruitful son (Genesis, 49:42). In
